Welcome to the Wisconsin Wireless Association (WiWA)
 

The Wisconsin Wireless Association is a non profit professional association dedicated to being
the voice of the wireless industry in the Badger State. Our members represent the creative talent and energy
of wireless carriers, tower companies, network developers, and their supporting vendors.

Our Mission is Threefold:

1. Promote positive awareness about
   our great industry. 
   
   We will raise awareness of the benefits of wireless technology by educating our communities, public officials and policy makers.
    
2. Form and cultivate strong relationships between the members of our industry.
   
   We will facilitate communication and relationships by hosting regular forums that allow collaborative and constructive dialog
   and an open sharing of best practices that contribute to the growth of the industry.
    
3. Enhance the communities we serve. 
   
   We will identify activities where our time, talent and financial support can improve the well being of the local communities we serve.

CALL FOR 2012 BOARD OF DIRECTORS NOMINATIONS!

We have 3 openings on our board for 2012, one of which needs to be a representative from a wireless carrier.

MESSAGE FROM THE SECRETARY

Dear WiWA Members, 

In accordance with the Wisconsin Wireless Association Bylaws, the Association will hold an electronic election of the Board of Directors in December 2011.  Ballot nominees will be announced at the Annual Meeting prior to the beginning of the Third Annual Holly Jolly Trolley Tour of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Thursday, December 8, 2011.

To be considered on the ballot or to nominate a person, please fill out the Board of Directors Application and return via email to Devon Pavlek, WIWA Secretary, at secretary@wisconsinwireless.org by December 7th. 

If you do not have a ballot, you may request a copy from the Secretary at the email address set forth above.

Three Directors will be voted in to complete the slate of seven 2012 Board of Directors. 

Electronic voting will be conducted December 8 through December 16, 2011. Instructions on how to cast your vote will be sent out on December 8, 2011.  Election results will be announced on or after December 19, 2011.  The 2012 Board of Directors will elect officer positions at the annual Board of Directors meeting in January 2012.
